Here are six envelopes from Paragould, Arkansas/Osceola, Arkansas/Jonesboro, Arkansas/Manilla, Arkansas/ Leachville, Arkansas/Trumann, Arkansas. Each of the envelopes have the 4 cent stamp on them with Abraham Lincoln image on them. They have all been metered by the post office evidenced by the wavy lines. It seems that they are all advertising proposals mailed from Newspaper offices and Radio stations to a church soliciting their business.The envelope that has the K-O-S-E logo on the end also features a metered advertisement from the St. Louis Cardinals' Baseball team even though it was mailed from Osceola, Arkansas. The Jonesboro envelope has a meter stamp of Memphis, Tennessee. Dimensions: The overall dimensions of the newspaper measures 4-1/8" wide and is 9.5" tall. Condition: The condition of these envelopes is good considering their age (over 56 years old). Here's a bit of my story: At a used car lot in a small middle Tennessee town the 'car bug' bit and I have been infected with this disease for over fifty years. The father of one of my high school friends was a co-owner in the dealership, which allowed me the opportunity to grow up around these classic cars. One of my first drives was an SS Impala, which has a way of hooking you for life! When you were in the graduating class of 1967 you were born to love the muscle cars of that era. Over the last four decades I have bought, sold, restored and collected cars from every vintage. There was a Cadillac LaSalle, some Ford Mustangs, a sweet 1953 MG-TD, several Corvettes, a few pickups, and even a 1926 Studebaker! This diversified experience has included owning approximately 150 cars in the last forty-three years!
