B. How to know if wheel spacers needed: Wheel spacers are used when the offset of the wheel is not ideal for the end package that you want. Whether its because of too narrow of axles or not enough wheel offset, wheel spacers can put your tires and wheels where you want them to be under your fender. C. Common issues with wheel spacers: The main issue with a wheel spacer is that it moves the wheel to a wider position whilst the rest of the suspension arms remain in the same place. In particular, the king pin inclination axis remains in the same place. Therefore, fitting a wheel spacer moves the wheel outboard and alters the scrub radius of the car. NOTE: 1.
