These shrimp are usually the byproducts of selective breeding programs, where they don't meet the specific color or pattern standards for a particular strain. Despite this, they are highly popular among aquarists for their hardiness, easy care, and the delightful array of colors they bring to a tank. Typically, mixed cull Neocaridina shrimp display a spectrum of colors including shades of red, blue, yellow, green, orange, brown, and even transparent varieties.
