Be assured they are perfectly fine and will take a charge once installed. Nominal voltage is 7.2v so anything above that will charge up fine. Please be aware some of the cells might have a dark orange adhesive near the sides. This is how they came from the factory at Toyota. It does not effect the performance of the cells. For some reason Toyota decided this was a good idea to put some glue near the ends to keep the cells together.
