COOKE AND first issued from stock on 25 January 1913. The stamp was issued in Sydney on 28 January 1913. This marsupial was printed from two Plates (Plate 1 the UPPER PLATE and Plate 2 the LOWER Plate) each with 120 stamps-on in two Panes of 60 each in 10 horizontal rows of 6 Stamps. They were used to 'Make-Up' for higher telegram, parcel and bulk postage charges in 1913. There was just ONE printing on First Watermark paper totalling only 960,000 stamps.
