Description: 1999 Mattel Barbie The Wizard of Oz series Ken as The Tin Man. With this 1997-1999 doll, Barbie’s boyfriend Ken is featured as The Tin Man from Barbie’s Wizard of Oz series. Ken has a silver face and hands and is wearing a metallic silver suit with a heart on the chest, two silver boots and a silver funnel hat. The doll is jointed at knees, elbows, wrist, ankles and neck. Marked 1996 Mattel on back of head indicating mould date. Good vintage condition, a few scuffs due to age and storage. It’s missing the oil can. Note: the suit has a tacky feel to it as the metallic fabric has aged and there’s some of its coating peeling away on jacket and pants and a bit of residue on its back (from the tissue paper it was wrapped in during storage and we didn’t attempt to remove it).
