Description: 1996 LADY DEATH 3 BLACK MASK Parallel CHROMIUM set (90) In 1996 Krome Productions issued the third series of LADY DEATH ALL- CHROMIUM cards. These cards were produced with a much smaller production run than the first two series. That fact, plus their huge popularity, has resulted in the card prices being 4 or 5 times that of Series 1 and 2. On ebay, boxes go for up to $150! Each pack of the 1996 Lady Death cards included one "parallel" card. These parallel cards had the same graphics on the front as the 90 base set, but they were covered with a cellophane wrap that had to be removed to see which card it was. The backs of the cards did not have the base card back, but rather had the checklist for the full set and had no number in the lower right hand emblem that contained the card number in the base set (see picture). This auction is for the full set of 90 BLACK MASK Parallel cards (which sell for up to $5 each on ebay). The cards have fantastic illustrations, most being done by one of the best artists around - Steven Hughes. Six of the cards are shown in the picture - and the back graphics are shown in the second picture. A VERY RARE and attractive collectible for the Lady Death fan.
