It features artwork by the legendary Alan Davis, a true legend, and one of the most distinctive artists in comics. Allan Davis worked with Alan Moore on both Captain Britain and Marvelman / Miracleman, and is also well-known for classic work on Avengers, Uncanny X-Men, JSA, the Legion of Super-Heroes, Detective Comics, and many other titles throughout the 1980's, 1990's, and 2000's. This is a classic image featuring great straight-on views of Captain Britain, Kitty Pryde (Shadowcat), Rachel Summers (Phoenix), Nightcrawler, and Meggan. It is in very good undisplayed condition, with no pinholes, tears, or other major wear commonly seen on vintage posters or prints, and measures approximately 11" by 17" when unfolded and is blank on the reverse side. It has some minor general handling wear. This is a very cool and rare comic collectible, as they were for promotional use and were not made for resale. Promotional posters like this one were not mass-produced or available to the general public, and were often thrown away, so to find a classic one like this that is around 30 years old and has not been pinned with tacks or taped is rare indeed.
