Description: 1968 Smokey Yunick Camaro 1:18 Scale DiecastCollector Car by GMP Smokey Yunick set speed and endurance records with this Camaro, but never won a race with it. Later in the car’s career under the ownership of Don Yenko is when it began to win. Many famous names drove the car such as Bruce McLaren, Lloyd Ruby and Al and Bobby Unser. Vic Edelbrock purchased the car in 1993 and performed a ground up restoration in 1995. The authenticity of the “13”original car has been questioned by many due to the innovations of SmokeyYunick. This model is a facsimile based on research and info provided to GMP. Car housed in box with pictorial detailed interior and molded plastic and foam inserts. Made in China 2004. For ages 7+. *Note - There is a small manuafacturer's defect - a small paint bubble on the hood - see picture. Also, the paint color looks different in some pictures as they were taken at different times and with different cameras.
