Description: This week I'm offering a variety of cards from non-sport sets of the Fifties and Sixties. In 1964, in the wake of the tragic murder of President John F. Kennedy, Topps issued a memoral set of 77 black and white cards derived from press photos of the late President. This is not to be confused with a very similar set of 64 cards issued by rival card manufacturer Rosan - the sets use some of the same photos but are distinct and different. Both sets feature photos of JFK with his family, with various world leaders, and generally displaying the charisma that the nation still felt. The sets have remained very popular with collectors. This is card #23 from the Rosan set, showing the late President with the First Lady. It's in very nice shape with no creases or stains (see scans for condition). All in all, an attractive example of an historic set. This would be a terrific addition to any collection!
