Description: 1952 and 1953 Mother's Cookies Baseball Card Lot of SevenMother’s Cookies, a food brand eventually owned by the Italian conglomerate Ferrero Group, began as a bakery in Oakland, California. Founded in 1914, the company operated until 2008, when it declared bankruptcy. Among its many products, Mother’s Cookies is remembered for distributing collectible baseball cards in its cookie packs during 1952 and 1953. These cards featured players from the Pacific Coast League (PCL), a significant minor league at the time. The 1952 set includes 64 cards, while the 1953 set contains 63 cards. The cards were distributed exclusively on the West Coast, contributing to their scarcity. Each card has rounded corners and measures 2 3/16" x 3 1/2".
