C. - John Howard Lawson, left, frequently named as the "commissar" of Hollywood screen writers, today was cited for contempt of Congress in refusing to state under oath whether he is or he is not a communist. Lawson was summarily removed by police from the witness stand at the Congressional Probe of Hollywood Communism after he refused to answer yes or no to the question.
