1930/1940s Weeden 14 - Live Steam Engine For Parts or Restoration

Description: LIVING ESTATE SALE (Details at the end of description) For your consideration is an antique Weeden 14 Live Steam Engine made in the USA in the late 1930s / early 1940s. This engine is a good candidate for a fairly easy restoration (see condition description).It has been air tested (video). Included is a (decorative) governor top casting. Missing parts : The burner tray and the pressure relief valve.The whistle has only the base and needs a new shaft, handle and dome.The top of the boiler has been soldered and the repair can benefit from some smoothing. This is the description from the Weeden site :"The Number 14, manufactured from the late 1800's up to 1940, was Weeden's most popular engine. It has a six legged table style cast iron frame, a design shared with two other similar electrically heated models, the No.647 and No.648.
