Description: I have for sale a medal issued for the 1898 National Peace Jubilee that was held in Chicago, Illinois. The peace Jubilee was held to commemorate the end of the Spanish-American War. The medal has two parts that are both gilded metal and both are in uncirculated condition. The top pinback bar is in the shape of a bowtie. The medal is 1 1/8 inch in diameter. On one side it reads NATIONAL PEACE JUBILEE, in the center it shows an arch and under the arch, it reads, MC KINLEY ARCH. On the other side, I believe the bust in the center is President McKinley.
