Raven means more to Levi than he can ever possibly put into words. When he was introduced to the hobby in 2022, he had no idea he'd ever be sculpting his own models. Even as a horse-obsessed child, being able to spend his days sculpting and painting horses wasn't even in his wildest dreams. From the bottom of our heart, thank you to everyone who has made this possible and supported his work so far. The desire to sculpt Raven was born from a photo of Windermere's Raven, a 3yr old Percheron filly. There was just something in the way she held her head in the photo, something in her eyes, that he wanted so badly to capture in a sculpt. He reached out to Windermere Farms and they graciously gave him permission to use her photo as a reference. Being that he doesn't have any way to connect with horses in person, he studied many references and anatomy studies of horses to make sure he got her anatomically correct, while still giving some artistic flair with her posture. We both feel as though he captured her expression exactly as he wanted to. Each scale edition of this model is available to order for ONE MONTH*. Due to this being Levi's first resin release, there is not yet a way to gauge how successful she will be. This model is printed on demand and as such, there may be a wait for shipping. If demand is higher, customers will be informed via social media and email of any delays. Each model is thoroughly cleaned, properly post-cured, and inspected before shipping to ensure it's safe to handle and up to quality standards. If you have any questions or uncertainties, please don't hesitate to reach out. Each model will be removed of its supports prior to post-cure, but prep work for painting will need to be done by the buyer. This may include sanding and filling marks where the printing supports were. She is printed at 0.04mm layer height with anti-aliasing and layer and voxel lines are nearly nonexistent. Please remember to clean her again before priming, as you would any other resin/plastic model. Dish soap and water is fine, isopropyl alcohol is also safe. This model is sold as a collectible piece of artwork and is not suitable as a toy for children. These models are sold unpainted and are intended to be completed by the buyer, or sent to an artist to be finished. Feel free to customize, reposition, resculpt, and paint this model however you wish. If you choose to sell your model, please disclose any customization done by you.
