I removed a nylon ply from the remaining cotton plies and then wound the 2 ply yarn into cakes. It is a cobweb lace weight of 21/22 wraps per inch.It is in very good condition. Uses: As a carry-a-long yarn mixed with other yarns. 21/22 wraps per inch. Combine the 2 plies into 4 plies and you have a #0 light fingering weight. 16/17 wraps per inch. Combine the 2 plies into 6 plies and you get 14 wraps per inch, a #1 fingering superfine sock weight. Other uses: up to you and your creative imagination - maybe weaving or crocheting.
