Description: This auction is for one dozen (12) glass syringes from January 1953 still sealed in it's original box. They are in MINT condition. In the pictures you can see the cases they come from. The case is still sealed, and so are the boxes of syringes inside it. Somewhat like a time capsule from the 50's, the case is wooden with metal wire bound around it to seal it. It is marked on one side with “SYRINGE LUER 10cc, UNIT EACH QUANTITY 288, WEIGHT 65 LBS, CU 3.2, PACKED 1/53. “ B-D Label, BECTON DICKINSON , RUTHERFORD , N.J., (case number and US NAVY stamp)” on another side. Syringes are marked "Property of the US" This case was purchased with about 26 other cases of the same over 30 years ago from the government. They are left overs from the Korean War era. They have been sitting untouched in my dad's storage. We have opened one of the boxes to be able to show you what the syringes inside look like. All of it appears to be in EXCELLENT shape. Virtually untouched for 60+ years. The following pictures should help you see just how AWESOME a find this is! If you want to purchase a complete "unopened" case of 288 syringes let me know and we will make you a deal. Remember this auction is for ONE DOZEN (12) syringes.Winning bidder to pay $12.80 shipping cost. God Bless and Happy bidding.Made in The U.S.A.
